The Saudi Informatics team won 3 international awards at the 35th session of the International Informatics Olympiad 2023.

Represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba", the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won 3 international medals in the competitions of the third edition of the " European Girls' Olympiad in Informatics" 2023 (EGOI).

In partnership with the Ministry of Education, 5 Saudi students affiliated with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba", won multiple medals at the Junior Balkan Mathematical Olympiad 2023 (JBMO2023).

On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, advisor to the King and governor of the Makkah Region, launched on Saturday the second edition of the Global Conference for Giftedness and Creativity (GCGC).

King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" announced that 2539 students out of more than 24 thousand students passed the competition of Mawhoob 1 of 2023. They moved to the second stage of the competition of Mawhoob 2 in 4 disciplines, namely science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, in order to compete for the transition to participate in Mawhiba International Olympiad Program and to represent the KSA in international competitions.

King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba” showed its successful experience in research programs at the 18th Conference of European Council for High Ability, that has been held in The Hague city, Netherlands, during the period from August 31 to September 3, 2022.

350 high school students of different provinces of the KSA turned into researchers in four research fields, as part of Mawhiba Research Enrichment Program, which has been launched yesterday by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba”, in a distinguished partnership with 7 universities and research centers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dhahran and Dammam, which will last for 4 weeks, until August 18.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba", achieved 3 medals and 2 certificates in the “International Physics Olympiad of 2022", during its 52nd edition, which has been remotely held in Switzerland, during the period from July 10 to 18, with the participation of 368 students of 75 countries.

Saudi teams in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and informatics are preparing to participate and represent Saudi Arabia in 5 international scientific Olympiads. Their events will be held in person and remotely during July and August.

The Saudi physics team enhanced its presence among giants, continuing to flourish by winning 3 international awards at the sixth edition of European Physics Olympiad EuPhO 2022, hosted by Slovenia during the period from May 20-24, of 182 male and female students representing 37 countries, so that the awards balance of KSA, represented in “Mawhiba" Foundation and the Ministry of Education, in the Olympiad reached 13 awards.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba", in a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education, won 10 international awards and ranked 13th out 35 countries- representing by 318 students- , raising its award balance in this competition to 75 awards, including gold medals and honorable mentions.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" and the Ministry of Education, won for the sixteenth year in a row 7 special awards during its participation in the *Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair “ISEF" held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, from May 7 to 13. The KSA participates in it, represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" and the Ministry of Education.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" and the Ministry of Education, won for the sixteenth year in a row 16 Grand awards and 7 special awards during its participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair “ISEF 2022"

King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity “Mawhiba" won the “Stevie" Award in the Middle East and North Africa in the category of response to Covid-19 Pandemic, which is the category dedicated to honoring institutions and companies that dealt positively and efficiently during the pandemic and provided their services to the community.

Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) and the Ministry of Education, is participating in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia, from May 7 to 13.

The Kingdom maintained the lead in the Gulf Mathematics and Physics Olympiad since its establishment with 7 gold medals and 3 silver ones.

King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba" announced the names of the students selected to represent the Kingdom at the the Regeneron International Science ​​and Engineering Fair (ISEF 2022) to be held in the United States in the upcoming May, totaling 35 male and female students who joined to represent the the Saudi Team of Science and Engineering after a year-long and 7-phase arbitration journey of competition, training, and qualification.

On the sidelines of Winter Camp 2022 at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology "KAUST" in Jeddah, HE.
