Saudi experts at the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba" reviewed the method of the Foundation’s work methodology before experts, specialists and educators from 33 countries. It highlighted the success of its experience locally and internationally in discovering, nurturing and investing in talented people, to occupy the overall leadership in the approach of supporting and nurturing talented people globally.
"Mawhiba" participated in the sessions and events of the 17th European Council Conference for the Superior, which was held remotely from August 31 to September 2. The difficulties facing talented students, obstacles, and solutions were discussed. The conference is one of the largest international forums that includes experiences in the approach of talent and creativity from all over the world.
Mawhiba participated in the conference as a platinum Sponsor and keynote Speaker.
Mawhiba was present in the conference sessions with two working papers; the first was for Dr. Yousef Al-Ohali, Adviser to HE the Secretary-General, General Supervisor of E-Learning Department, entitled "COVID-19, Education: How talent turned challenges into opportunities through e-learning. The second is by Dr. Omar Al-Muammar, a Mawhiba consultant, entitled "The Impact of Mawhiba Summer Enrichment Programs, the Achievements and Skills of Gifted Students".
Mawhiba members also participated in a dialogue session about their experience with Mawhiba, its role in developing their skills, developing and improving their abilities, their ways of thinking and changing their career path, and the impact of its programs on achieving their most prominent achievements.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia, represented by Mawhiba Foundation, joined the network of talent support centers in February 2019, which was established as a result of the huge demand for coordination between European countries to enhance the exchange of information between those interested in students with high abilities.
