King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity "Mawhiba" launched the first training workshop to qualify the "11th grade" students to pass the SAT test, as part of Mawhiba Program for Elite Universities (Tamayuz), with the presence of HE. Dr. Saud Al-Mathami -Mawhiba Secretary-General of the King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity.
During a meeting with a motivational speech for his male and female gifted children, H.E Mawhiba Secretary-General stressed on the keenness of the wise leadership - May God Preserve Them - to support gifted countrymen and build a strong base of Saudi gifted people in various sectors, so that the Kingdom becomes an incubator of minds and talents, and a distinctive model of giftedness and creativity; Believing in the role of Saudi youth in overcoming challenges and making the future, and affirming its place among the developed world countries in various fields.
In his speech, HE. Al-Mathami called on students to proceed with excellence and brilliance, and to present an honorable and bright image of the Kingdom in the prestigious universities to which they would be attending stressing that they were the ambassadors of the nation at those universities; to highlight Saudi Arabia's capabilities and contribute their knowledge and talents to support the Kingdom's transformation into a knowledge society and achieve the targets of Vision 2030.
The training workshop was attended by 207 students (119 male students and 88 female students) from the 11th grade of all regions of the Kingdom, and aimed at informing students of the requirements for admission to the prestigious American universities and training them on the SAT test.
The Program for Elite American Universities (Tamayuz) is an integrated training program to qualify and prepare the best students aiming to study at prestigious American universities. It lasts for one year; starting from the second semester of the grade 11, until the student's admission to university.
Students in the Excellence Program receive many benefits. The most important of which are attending intensive SAT training workshops to help students achieve the degree required by elite universities, attending advanced leadership training workshops and presentation procedures for such universities, and attending individual counseling sessions through which a comprehensive plan is designed to develop the academic and biographical aspects of each student and to support students in applying to elite universities.
The Excellence Program qualifies students for admission to the world's top 30 American universities. It also focuses on the development of leadership and pioneering skills, enabling each student to prepare a "portfolio of achievement" rich in activities and initiatives to be distinguished from the hundreds of thousands of applicants around the world.
It is noteworthy that the "Excellence Program" was launched in 2015 and has been attended by more than 700 male and female students to date. It lasts for one year and has many services, some of which are provided in attendance and others remotely.
